NC1200
Finally, Hypex makes the famous NC1200 available for the OEM market, the top of the line in the class D series with very high performance Ncore technology. Currently considered one of the best digital amplifiers on the market, capable of expressing a three-dimensional sound, detailed and crystalline but at the same time "warm" like the best class A tube amplifiers. For a long time this board was sold and reserved only for some renowned manufacturers. Very similar in sound setting to the younger brother NC500, it differs in particular for the great ability to control even with low loads without alteration of dynamics. Power is high and distortion levels almost non-existent.

Although the NC1200 module has a buffer with 94Kohm input impedance it is possible to bypass it and add an external buffer to improve some parameters and modify its sound signature. To this end we have designed the NCX2.
ROUGE NCX2
The NCX2 is our new high-performance i / o board designed for the Hypex NC500, NC1200 and NC2K modules. Gain: 26dB. Input impedance: 47K.
The NCX2, in default, always uses the OPA1612 in the buffer stage, perhaps among the best IC's on the market for transparency and sound clarity (without added color) whose power is supplied by the NC1200 module through the HxR voltage regulators.
The feauture, which makes NCX2 unique, is that it is nevertheless set up to add an operational component to discrete components on DIP8. However, this "addition" does not replace the default setting of the circuit and its basic components (OPA1612) since, by moving the appropriate jumper on the board, the user can always choose and select at any time which operational use between the two (OPA1612 or the one installed on the dip8).
POWER SUPPLY. To power each NC1200 amplifier module it is necessary to use the appropriate switching PSU Hypex SMPS1200A700.
