S-PRO2
The S-PRO2 module was launched on the market by Pascal Audio in 2013. In December of the same year the Danish company made significant upgrades to this module bringing it to greater power and stability on low loads. The S-PRO2 has represented an important step forward in the design of Class D amplifier modules especially for professional active loudspeaker systems. Thanks to a remarkable miniaturization of the circuits, the S-PRO2 with its small size (215mm x 80mm x 25mm) is the smallest 1000W amplifier available on the market. Added to this are the excellent electronic performances, the simplicity of the design, the ease of integration, the stability and audiophile sound quality.

The S-PRO2 is certainly one of the best Class D amplifiers on the market today. Beyond power and sonic clarity, this module is very stable even on low loads. The technical implementations made by us concern the PRO-XS input buffer board.
ROUGE PRO-XS
(S-PRO INPUT)
This input buffer board allows the use of both balanced and unbalanced inputs, as well as the possibility to choose between mono or stereo configuration (selectable choices through special switches). Furthermore, in the BTL configuration, it is possible to select the power supply according to the load impedance of the speakers, thus being able to get the most out of the amplifier module. In fact, the S-PRO2 module, in BTL configuration, is optimized to work on 8 Ω loads delivering a power of 900W. When using lower loads, however, our circuit allows, through a special selector, to optimize the integrated power supply accordingly and thus allow the S-PRO2 module to deliver a power of 1050W on 4 Ω and 525W on 8 Ω .
The XLR series connectors are from Neutrik while the RCA ones are from Elecaudio ER106. The input impedance is 47Kohm. The buffer stage is entrusted to four ICs, two of which for the balanced signal (THAT 1200) and two for the unbalanced signal (ANALOG DEVICE 1612). Sequence report .
The PRO-XS is also designed to connect additional cards such as active filters and auto-mute systems. It also has clipping and mute indicators for each channel.
