DESCRIPTION

 

Dual mono class D power amplifier based on two HYPEX NCx500 modules of the new Ncore X series. Thanks to this technology the amplifier is ultra-linear, has noise and distortion levels that are almost non-existent (even lower than those typical of class A or A / B of the highest quality) and also can handle the most difficult loads thanks to an ultra-low output impedance. Each amplifier module is powered by one Hypex SMPS1200A700 PSU.

NEW BUFFER STAGE

OPA 1612 + HxR DISCRETE VOLTAGE REGULATORS

The new NCx500 modules have a built-in and optimized buffer stage. The buffer is based on the OPA1612 supplied by the well-known Hypex HxR discrete voltage regulators. In this way, the following improvements are achieved:

  • ultra low noise

  • higher bandwidth

  • excellent CMRR  

  • low load independent output impedance

DUAL MONO CONFIGURATION TO GET THE MOST OUTPUT OF THE NCX500

The amplifier is configured in DUAL MONO: each channel is equipped with its own HYPEX SMPS1200A700 power supply dedicated to the respective  power stage amplifier Hypex NCx500. The two channels are therefore completely independent and have in common only the AC power supply and the relative control board. Each SMPS1200A700 power supply is oversized compared to the NCx500 module as it is capable of delivering  1200W at 20hz.

N7X inside
RCB OPTION . It is possible to add, for each channel, the RCB (Rouge Connection Board) which allows to have double XLR and RCA inputs. It is a passive module made with quality components.
